Like all great ideas Kapoochi products came as a result of inspiration and dedication to the solving of a problem seen by two mothers, who both wanted a better way of carrying their babies to and from shopping malls.

Their research and work resulted in a very simple but innovative system of carrying a baby in a carry pouch which included three different functions. This new pouch could be used as a front carry pouch for a baby in a facing in or facing out position, as well as a shopping trolley restraint and chair restraint.

In 1991 Kapoochi designers were fortunate to receive an International Design Award for the innovative design of the Kapoochi Carry Pouch System. This resulted in strong growth in sales and interest in the Kapoochi Brand.

Today we at Kapoochi are committed to providing products that fulfill and exceed the expectations of parents who wish to enjoy the early years of child care.

Kapoochi products are now available in major and independent nursery retail outlets in Australia, New Zealand and Europe as well as selected retail outlets and catalogue companies in the United States.
